Meet Mars!
This is Mars, an Airedale Terrier. He is an intelligent, faithful and protective work companion. As with most ADTs, he’s a rascal and has quite a sense of humor too.
He’s quite helpful at work and allows me to get tasks done without interruption. I’m sure that’s because he takes breaks (i.e. naps) for the both of us. He brings toys over to me when he thinks I need to step away from my laptop. What follows is about fifteen minutes of play, with me doing most of the fetching. I did mention that he’s an intelligent little rascal, right?
Overall, Mars brings balance, humor and joy to my productive ‘work at home’ days.

Meet Fred!
Our shop works to support the community with community-focused events every other month, and in April we had an adoption/donation day for the Nature Coast Humane Society and they left us a donation box to help them out. I had taught Fred to hit a button to ask for treats and changed the message to include helping the Humane Society. She does a fantastic job asking for treats and donations so much that the volunteers for the Humane Society said we’re the first business to have called to have a box emptied because it was too full! She’s an amazing companion and the customers love her.

Meet Bella!
Bella used to come with me everyday to work at Transformed Treasures. However I retired last year and now I work in the same building a couple times a month for Kelly Pruit at Flippin Out Vintage and Bella (my pomeranian) is with me and still a vital part of her business! She also goes with me and works at greeting everyone who steps into the First Baptist Church office on Mondays and Tuesdays where we volunteer our time as a receptionist and greeters. She loves to go to work and is very good at her job.

Meet Grist!
Grist behind the desk. You can only see part of her. She said she hadn’t combed her hairs yet and wasn’t ready for the picture.

Meet Ben Franklin!
Ben Franklin, aka “Benji” is all tuckered out after helping to process over 100 renewal notices for Hernando Sun newspaper this month. Well, he mainly ran around and tried to eat them. (Sorry for any puppy slobber!) Benji is a 10 week old corgi and you’ll probably be seeing more of him and his siblings, Koji and Connie soon!

Meet Sophie!
Ms. Emiko’s dog, Sophie, a Miniature Shetland Sheepdog, is a regular companion at both the Spring Hill and Bayonet Point locations of Adventures in Music. Sophie has been accompanying Ms. Emiko to work since she was just 9 weeks old and is now over a year old. Despite her frequent presence, Sophie remains a shy dog. However, she is incredibly sweet and quiet, and she enjoys being petted when she feels comfortable. All the kids and adults are always hopeful that Sophie will be in the office when they visit, eager to catch a glimpse of her and share a moment with the gentle dog.
