Lately, there have been tons of negative physical mailers and TV commercials circulating around Hernando County about Marvin Baynham. It’s really quite something to see. Turns out, Tallahassee Dark PAC (Political Action Committee) money is feeling threatened by the positive impact I will make on Hernando County. Those PAC ads are clearly trying to influence public opinion, but I won’t let dark money sway our elections here. It’s no secret that PACs don’t have our community’s best interests at heart.
My campaign is all about maintaining class and grace and letting the truth speak for itself. I’ve made it my mission to connect with the people of our community, because building trust and a strong rapport is vital to me. I’ve taken every piece of feedback to heart and incorporated it into my vision for our community’s future.
Running for office calls for sacrifices: sleepless nights, financing my own campaign, and precious time away from my little ones—I’ve put it all on the line. But I’m driven and committed to making a positive impact. Dedication and determination are key. What matters to you matters to me.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the incredible citizens of this county. Our community is truly special, and the support I’ve received throughout this journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Your words of encouragement, your hydration during those scorching door-to-door campaigns, and our personal conversations about the future of our community—every single moment has meant the world to me. They haven’t gone unnoticed, believe me.
The hard work, sweat, and tears I’ve poured into this journey have truly woven me into the fabric of Hernando County. I’ve taken risks, and I’d do it all over again without hesitation. Don’t let fear dictate your vote when you fill out the ballot. Trust your conscience to guide you. Are you ready for eight more years of the same old, or are you ready for a fresh start? I have no regrets and am grateful for this experience. What God has for me will be, and no PAC will change that. I’d be honored to receive your vote on August 20th. Let’s make a difference together.
