The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, is a lovely old iconic traditional Catholic Church, founded by Father Bonet in 1985, located in Hernando County. We would like to invite the public to a very special occasion this coming weekend. On Sunday, October 11th, we will celebrate the confirmation of ten members of our congregation AND the first visit to the church here in Florida, of CMRI’s Bishop Pivarunas who will be presiding at the service.
CMRI and Bishop Pivarunas are responsible for over 120 traditional Catholic Churches and Mass Centers both in the U.S. and abroad, as well as 20 traditional Catholic Schools. They also operate two major seminaries, a minor seminary, a noviciate for religious Brothers, and convents for religious Sisters.
For those of you who are interested, confessions are held at 9:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. Following that, you are invited to visit and tour the Church’s new Assisted Living Facility across the street from the church, which will be officially opening soon where a luncheon buffet and a children’s Bouncy House will be awaiting. The church is located at 10360 Atlanta Ave., between Weeki Wachee and Homosassa(next to Weeki Wachee High School).
We are also celebrating the opening our new K-12 school this fall. The Sisters who will be in charge of teaching and registration will also be available to talk to you and your family. For more information on this event or the school call 352-556-2969 or consult our website at:
