The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating an Absconded Sexual Offender.

“MOM” – RIGHT CALF
GUN AND “USMC” – RIGHT ARM
HEART W/SCROLL AND CROSS – BACK
MARIJUANA LEAF – LEFT ARM
SKULL W/LETTER “A” – LEFT ARM
On 08-17-2024, Mark Davis was released from the Department of Corrections. Davis was required to register, as a sex offender, with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, within 48 hours of his release.
As of 08-23-2024, Davis has not registered with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and his current whereabouts are unknown.
Davis was reportedly last seen on or about 08-17-24 at Jericho Road Ministries, located at 11014 N. Broad Street in Brooksville. He was attempting to check in to their program; however, due to his sex offender status, his request was denied.
At this time there is probable cause for the arrest of Mark Davis. An arrest warrant is forthcoming.
