A Spring Hill man was charged with 13 counts of “Sexual Contact with Animal” after detectives found 13 files on his computer containing sexual activities involving animals.
Detectives also found that Aaron Randall, age 34, appeared to be advertising sexually explicit videos for sale on social media where a juvenile female would be involved. This included a price list of various sex acts and services to watch live-streaming videos of Child Exploitation Material.
In addition to advertising a child for sexually explicit photographs and videos, Randall’s account stated that he would receive payment on a popular cellphone banking application.
Randall admitted to viewing and possessing the files containing Sexual Activities Involving Animals. The Sheriff’s Office clarified that the files they found so far were of others engaging in sexual activities with animals, not Randall.
He also admitted to owning the social media account in question.
He told investigators that whenever he needed money, he would attempt to scam pedophiles and he made around $3000 over the last one to two years. He said he never actually distributed child pornography.
He used his ex-girlfriend’s name on his banking application to hide his identity. Investigators searched his residence and found 2.7 grams of Methamphetamine in his bedroom.
In addition to the 13 charges of “Sexual Contact with Animal,” Randall was charged with Money Laundering, Fraudulent Use of Identification, and Possession of Controlled Substance. He has a total bond of $77,500. An arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 8, 2024.
Detectives have not yet finished the forensic examination of his device yet and there may be additional charges once that is complete.
