Missing Endangered Adult – Moira Bossard

Be on the lookout

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from our media partners and the community in locating a MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT.

Moira Bossard was last seen on 10-08-24 walking into a hurricane shelter, located at Challenger K-8 school on Elgin Boulevard in Spring Hill.

Ms. Bossard is not at her residence, nor the shelter, and shelter staff have no record of her checking in.

Ms. Bossard’s whereabouts are unknown at this time.

The vehicle Ms. Bossard drove to the shelter, a 2021 white Toyota Camry 4-door, bearing Florida tag/ Y31HIP, is also not there.

Prior to driving to the shelter, neighbors described Ms. Bossard as “confused” – stating that she left once and returned home because she was lost. She also talked about “driving to Tennessee to be with her family.”

At this time, Ms. Bossard has not arrived at the residence of any family member in Tennessee.

Ms. Bossard has not been diagnosed with any type of cognitive impairment, and does not meet criteria for a Silver Alert at this time.

White / Female
Date of Birth – 03-13-1944
Height – 5’03”
Weight – Unknown
Eyes – Unknown
Hair – Gray
Clothing – Unknown.
