Authorities arrested George Philip Foord, 54, of Ridge Manor on November 21, 2024, in connection with sex crimes involving minors that allegedly occurred in California over two decades ago.
The investigation began after four victims recently came forward, accusing Foord of engaging in multiple lewd acts with them while they were underage. Huntington Beach Police in California established probable cause and issued an extraditable warrant on November 19 with a $1 million bond.
Foord, who had been staying at a hotel on Windmere Road in Brooksville due to flood damage at his Ridge Manor residence, was taken into custody without incident. A search of his home and hotel room uncovered sexually explicit materials, including photos and other evidence, which will be sent to California for further processing.
Foord remains in the Hernando County Detention Facility awaiting extradition to California.
