On Saturday, December 13, groups throughout the United States participated in Wreaths Across America to pay homage to our service men and women by laying Christmas wreaths on the graves of veterans.

The Glen Lakes Veterans and Friends Association supported by the Florida Chapter of Rolling Thunder participated in this event at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

Also, representatives from the City of Brooksville Parks and Recreation Department and the Brooksville Cemetery Advisory Board, laid wreaths at the gravesites of more than 650 veterans at the Historic Brooksville Cemetery on Olmes Road.
