Wider Horizons Students Spread Holiday Cheer With Christmas Caroling

Wider Horizons School students gathered Friday to sing Christmas carols for family and friends. They have spent every day for the past two weeks preparing by rehearsing the lyrics to several Christmas and Hanukkah songs. Second and third-grade students even learned the sign language for “Silent Night” and “Away in the Manger.” One child played the drums along to “The Little Drummer Boy.”

Wider Horizons has also tried to bring people joy this Christmas by having junior high and high school students sing Christmas carols at nursing homes around Hernando on Wednesday, marking their first visit since the pandemic.
