One Dead, One Injured in SR-50 Crash at US-301 Intersection

An 86-year-old Bushnell woman was killed, and a 72-year-old Nobleton man was seriously injured in a crash Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the intersection of SR-50 and US-301, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The man, driving a Ford Focus eastbound on SR-50, turned left into the path of a westbound tractor-trailer driven by a 66-year-old man from Waterloo, Iowa. The truck struck the Focus. The truck driver was uninjured. The Nobleton man was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
