Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a commercial structure fire at Brian’s Place restaurant early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters arrived just after 3:30 a.m. and found flames coming from the side of the building. Crews quickly launched an aggressive fire attack, containing the blaze to an exterior wall of the kitchen area.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fortunately, the kitchen’s stainless steel-lined interior walls prevented the flames from spreading inside the building.
No injuries were reported, and the building was unoccupied at the time. The restaurant will remain closed until repairs are completed.
