A routine traffic stop in Hernando County led to the arrest of a man on multiple drug charges, authorities said.
On March 1, deputies pulled over a white Ford Expedition after the driver failed to stop at a red light.
The driver, identified as Troy Schuerger, admitted to not having a valid driver’s license and told deputies he had THC gummies in the center console, according to the sheriff’s office.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found methamphetamine, crack cocaine and two glass smoking pipes.
Schuerger was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
