Elevate Florida Workshops Coming to Hernando County

Elevate Florida, a new statewide residential mitigation program led by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), aims to protect homes and communities from natural disasters like hurricanes and floods.

Hernando County will host three Elevate Florida workshops:

– March 17 – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hernando County Emergency Operations Center (18900 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville)
– March 18 – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Weeki Wachee Area Club (7442 Shoal Line Blvd., Spring Hill)
– March 19 – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ridge Manor Community Center (34240 Cortez Blvd., Ridge Manor)

Full presentations will take place at noon and 5 p.m. each day.
