A 49-year-old Brooksville woman died Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle on County Line Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The crash occurred at 9:46 p.m. west of Mariner Boulevard. FHP reported that a 55-year-old Hernando Beach man was driving an Audi E-Tron westbound when the woman attempted to cross the highway and entered the path of the vehicle.
The woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
