Community Engagement Session III
The third and final session of the Community Focus Group for Hernando County’s Strategic Planning process is Community Engagement Session III, which will be held on April 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Eastside Elementary School Cafeteria, located at 27151 Roper Road, Brooksville, FL 34602. This important session is part of a series aimed at gathering community input on key strategic planning ideas for Hernando County.
During this session, participants will have the opportunity to:
· Review draft vision, objectives and recommendations
· Review input received through resident survey and community participation since Forum 1
· Discuss and refine the draft vision, goals, objectives, and recommendations
· Test the degree of support or consensus for the vision, goals, objectives, and recommendations
· Discuss priorities
The University of South Florida (USF) team, in partnership with St. Petersburg College (SPC) Collaborative Labs, will lead the session and present workshop materials developed based on previous community engagement activities.
At the conclusion of Forum III, a written and visual Forum Summary will be created, summarizing the key activities and conclusions of the session. This summary will be made available on the engagement website in the “Meeting Minutes” section for community review by visiting www.EngageHernando.com/StrategicPlan.
This is an excellent opportunity for local residents to engage directly in the strategic planning process and ensure that their voices are heard as future decisions are made.
