A friend who goes to our church passed me a note, asking me to look into why many of the Democrat Congresswomen were wearing pink to President Trump’s National Address to Congress. As I was researching the topic, I came across a couple of videos that spoke to this very issue. Now, many of you may have watched the speech on your TV sets but didn’t quite get the story of those ladies attempting to “make a statement” with their evening attire. For those of you who missed this “spectacle in pink,” I will try and lay out some facts.
According to a memorandum that was sent out to the “lady Dems,” the message with the color pink was this: 1) We’re powerful, passionate and pissed off! 2) Pink is a color of protest. It is a color of woman’s power and persistence. Trump is [supposedly] raising costs, not lowering them, and we will push back! 3) Women can’t afford Trump. We can’t afford eggs, and we can’t afford attacks on our healthcare, and we can’t afford the attacks on our healthcare and the discrimination and abuse peddled by his administration. 4) WEAR PINK to stand out as united in our fight for women and families. (This came from Julie Tsirkin, a Capitol Hill Correspondent.) She also stated that many members of the Black Caucus wore black outfits and those who protested against Pres. Trump’s views and statements towards Ukraine wore noticeable Ukrainian-colored ensemble accessories to bring attention to their plight. Throughout the progression of the evening, the “Lady Dems” were in such lockstep with each other that they wouldn`t even give applause for a boy who was diagnosed with some kind of brain disease and as his doctors gave him a diagnosis of living for mere months, he beat their guesstimates, and lived on for many years! There was also a young man who wanted to go to the West Point Military Academy (as three generations of the men in his family had done). When President Trump told the gathering that the teen was going to be recommended by him for entry, the Republican side of the room erupted in applause! As predicted (and expected), the “Ladies in Pink” sat in stoic smugness!
In another video (by “The Indian Express” channel titled, “Democrats Wear Pink, Yellow & Blue to Protest: What Did They Want From Donald Trump?”), the narrator states that pink was worn to protest President Trump “betraying” women and families for his billionaire buddies. These Congresswomen may have been united in their plan to show solidarity to their base, but their platform on the premise of President Trump being against women and families was the furthest from the truth! President Trump was against men competing against women in sports, whereas the “other side’s” stand was for allowing it. That also meant that they did not mind the idea of men undressing in front of girls in locker rooms as well. This one “platform” stand-alone should boil the blood of every moral (and God-fearing) person in America! We are living in a time where those who make the most noise (and throw the most temper tantrums) get their way. Again, I am asking our faithful readers to get involved and also GET VOCAL! Remember, In God we trust! (When we don’t, we truly lose)!
Have a blessed week, until we can meet here again!
