BKV to receive $69K in funding from CARES Act

At the regular Board of County Commissioners Meeting (BOCC) on May 26th, Airport Director Kevin Daugherty reported that the Brooksville – Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV) will be awarded $69,000 in special assistance by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the CARES Act).  Under this provision, these funds are to assist in operational expenses such as payroll, utility bills, payment of debt service or any other allowable expenditures within the Airport’s Enterprise Fund.
