Dear Readers,
The most important election in my lifetime is at our doorstep. It is not about Joe Biden’s or Donald Trump’s personality. You may love or hate either. It is much more than that. It is about our constitution and republic and “fundamentally transforming” it into a socialistic/communistic society.
Look back at history. Every communist totalitarian state started out with mildly socialistic programs, but quickly morphed into a total loss of personal freedoms. They start with changing the culture and history of the country, denigrate religion, the nuclear family, and impose strict censorship. This is happening everywhere in our society today. Free speech is censored online, on college campuses, and in many public schools.
No, this election is not about Joe Biden or Donald Trump. It is about freedom versus safety. Good versus evil. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Please think about this as you vote. Ronald Reagan also said, “Freedom is just one generation away from extinction.”
