A vehicle was traveling northbound in the outside lane of US-19 approaching Manor Drive. A 22-year-old male pedestrian from New Port Richey was walking in the northbound right turn lane of US-19 when a vehicle entered the turn lane. It then collided with the pedestrian who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. Post-impact, the vehicle fled the crash scene traveling northbound on US-19. The vehicle is believed to be an Audi A6, white in color, with front or left-front damage from the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FHP by calling 813-558-1800 or *FHP (*347). Those with information may also call Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
12/27/20 UPDATE
FHP Troopers continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian hit and run crash from December 25th. The above photos are of the suspect vehicle, a white Audi sedan, that was later clocked by an FHP Trooper on eastbound SR-54 near Madison Street, traveling 98 MPH shortly after the crash. The Trooper, flagged down by witnesses, was unable to locate the vehicle.

FHP Troopers continue to investigate the Christmas evening fatal crash. Troopers are currently searching for a 2012 Audi A6, white in color, bearing Florida tag PXYU59 and with the last six VIN numbers of 051174.
