Due to rising flood waters the county is in the process of shutting down Pine Island Drive.
Additional road closures in the Hernando Beach/Weeki Wachee area are possible as high tide approaches around noon.

— Osowaw Boulevard and Shine Lane (water Over Roadway)
— Eagle Nest Drive and Oak Leaf Lane (water Over Roadway)
— Mitchell Road and Oxley Road, Brooksville (Tree branches down in roadway)
— 2700 block of Saturn Road, Brooksville. (Tree down, blocking entire roadway)
— Tavern Road, near U.S. 41, brooksville (Low hanging wires impacting roadway)
— Northbound lanes of Sunshine Grove Road, south of intersection of Ken Austin Parkway. (Large pothole in roadway)
Additionally, County crews at Linda Pedersen Park are filling sandbags for rising water near Aripeka.
