Commissioners at the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting Sept. 14, 2021 unanimously approved a request to rezone an 8.1 acre park site in Spring Hill to accommodate 13 residential lots. The proposed minimum square footage per lot will be 21,500 square feet.
The BOCC followed the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, which voted 5-0 on August 9, 2021, to recommend the rezoning of the parcel located south of Lagorce Avenue, west of Augustine Road, and north of Landover Boulevard. Currently, the area is designated as Recreational (PDP(REC)) and will be designated as a Planned Development Project (Single Family) (PDP(SF)).
According to Michael O’Halloran of O & S Capital Enterprises LLC.(property owner), the lot sizes will be slightly larger than those surrounding the site.
