EAST AVENUE DRAINAGE CHANNEL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Brooksville is inviting Requests for Proposals for the East Avenue Drainage Channel. The drainage channel running along East Avenue is part of the City of Brooksville’s stormwater conveyance system, using the hydrologic approach supporting the East Avenue Drainage Channel Maintenance Improvements project. The drainage channel has shifted over time from erosion, sedimentation and encroaching vegetation. Plans have been done by Cardno and we are now requesting proposals for professionals to submit proposals for the work to be done.
Specifications are available on the Florida Bid System (www.bidnetdirect.com). A link to the Florida Bid System (www.bidnetdirect.com) is also provided on the City’s Website. Sealed responses must include qualifications regarding the type of work specified in the request, as well as what type of procedures that would be used. Sealed and properly identified packets will be received by the City up to and including 2:00 p.m. local time, November 10, 2021. Bids will be opened immediately after the closing in City Chambers.
The City reserves the right to reject, waive technicalities, and/or negotiate any or all qualifications and procedures. Packets not received for any reason by the due date/time will not be accepted.
