Combined: Nature and Wilderness Explorers ages 5-10

Continuing our fall wildlife theme, this homeschool class for ages 5-10 will focus on mammals. We will discuss local species, unique characteristics of these animals, and their importance. Program will include related games and activities. Spots are limited and registration is required. While normally we ask you to register all individuals coming to a program, for this program please only register your child who is participating. Any person who requires special accommodation to participate should notify us at least 7 calendar days before the event by calling 352-754-6722. ABOUT US
The Hernando Sun is a locally owned weekly newspaper. The founders of the newspaper are Rocco and Julie Maglio. They saw the need for a newspaper when the Hernando Today newspaper closed their doors in 2014. Rocco is from Hernando, he went to school from Moton Elementary through Hernando High. Growing up in Hernando enhances his ability to provide background to ongoing issues. The Hernando Sun Printed their first issue in March 2015. They published monthly for a year before increasing to a weekly printing. The newspaper is delivered through the US mail, so it arrives with your mail.
