2021 Girls Weightlifting Begins

Over fifty girls filled the weightlifting room at Central High School to start off the girl’s 2021 weightlifting season. Lecanto and Hernando were invited to compete against Central on November 10. Hernando currently has 43 lifters on the girls’ weightlifting roster and for Central, there are 25. According to Central’s girl’s weightlifting coach Joseph Nestor, that is a full roster compared to seasons before. After the Thanksgiving Holiday, Central will host another competition with Bishop McLaughlin and Academy at the Lakes on December 1st.
