Public Hearing (VPH) for Proposed Median Modifications

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, will conduct a Virtual Public Hearing (VPH) for the proposed median modification to SR 50 (Cortez Blvd) at Donto Way in Hernando County, Florida, FPID Number 416733-2-52-01.

To allow for maximum participation, the public hearing will be held in three formats including virtually over the internet, by phone, or at an in-person drive-thru location. Information presented will be identical at all options.

This public hearing is being conducted to give property owners, business owners, interested persons and organizations the opportunity to provide comments to FDOT regarding the proposed median modification at SR 50 (Cortez Blvd) and Donto Way.

FDOT District Seven will receive verbal and written comments online and at each of the VPH locations. Written comments may be sent to: FDOT District Seven, Attn: Bronoris C. All comments received by email or postmarked by March 9, 2021 will become part of the official VPH record.

This virtual public hearing was advertised consistent with federal and state requirements, Section 335.199, F.S., and developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. 

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
