A cache of drugs and cash were seized from a pair of residences and two men and two women were arrested after a raid by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Vice and Narcotics Unit just a few days before Christmas. The searches resulted from lengthy investigations by Unit detectives.
HCSO Deputy Public Information Officer (PIO) Michael Terry said that HCSO obtained the search warrants in response to reports that narcotics-related activities were taking place at 21403 Anderson Rd. and 15392 Sinclair Rd. both located in Brooksville.
Acting on those warrants on Dec. 22, detectives seized 53 Suboxone Strips, more than 7 Methyl​enedioxy​methamphetamine (MDMA)commonly known as Ecstasy pills, a pair of handguns, ammunition, 9.7 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $2,693 in cash from the 2140 Anderson Rd. location.
Meanwhile, 27.19 grams of Fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and $791 in U.S. currency were seized from the 15392 Sinclair Rd. location.
Eve Kilgannon, 48, was arrested in connection with the search of Sinclair Road location and was charged with trafficking in Fentanyl and two counts each of the sale Fentanyl, possession of Fentanyl with the intent to sell, possession of a structure for intent to sell, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and three counts of possession of paraphernalia.
David Gayle, Deandre Goodson, 26, and 20-year old Destiny Wright were all arrested in connection with the seizure at 21403 Anderson Rd.
Wright and Goodson were both charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gale was charged with the sale of Fentanyl, the sale of Fentanyl within 1,000 feet of a church, trafficking in methamphetamine, the sale of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a church, two counts each of possession of a structure with the intent to sell, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device, three counts of possession of paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
All the cases are pending.
