Three men and two women were arrested when deputies from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office’s (HCSO) Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on the Brooksville premises belonging to a man suspected of trafficking methamphetamine.
Recently, the HCSO Narcotics Unit learned that a someone suspected of selling methamphetamine was residing in Brooksville. During a subsequent undercover investigation, Trevor Keef, age 47, sold methamphetamine to undercover narcotics officers.
On Aug. 26, deputies executed a search warrant at Keef’s property at 8040 Jayson Drive and discovered a trafficking amount of methamphetamine, a felony amount of marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia including smoking pipes and straws containing methamphetamine residue.
Keef, who is a convicted felon currently on bond for unrelated cases involving methamphetamine trafficking, grand theft and possession of Grand Theft, and drug paraphernalia, was subsequently arrested. He was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of more than 20 grams of Marijuana, possession of a structure for the purpose of selling a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested were 32-year-old Brandy Johnson, Matthew Goebel, age 47, Sarah Romaire, age 39, and 37-year-old Joshua Kincaid.
Kincaid and Romaire were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The cases are pending.
Goebel and Johnson were each charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Keef was also charged with two counts each of the sale of methamphetamine; possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell; possession of a structure for the purpose of selling a controlled substance; the unlawful use of a two-way communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia.
