NOTICE OF APPLICATION
The Department announces receipt of an environmental resource permit application (File No. MMR_231362-007) from Florida Rock Industries, Inc., to request a major modification to increase the maximum mining depth from 30 feet North Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) to a depth of 5 ft NGVD feet within Mining Area 2 (Jones Pit), as well as other minor modifications. The proposed project does not include any proposed wetland impacts. The site is located at 14556 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Brooksville FL, 34601, Section(s): 15-22; 27-29 Township: 21 South Range: 19 East. The Project is within the Upper Coastal Drainage and Withlacoochee River Basins, Class III Waters, Hernando County.
