Christopher Fred Strike age 71 of Cornelia, Georgia formerly of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 08, 2023.
Born in Colon, Panama on July 19, 1951, he was the son of the late Clarence Ethelbert & Ida Bee Ayers Strike and brother to two sisters Shelley and Judy. Mr. Strike served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After the Marines he started a successful roofing company and worked as a general contractor for many years before retirement. He was a proud, loving, serving Father to his children, Kevin and Kelli, whom he made sure never went without anything. He loved his job as a grandfather to five grandchildren, always only asking for payment in “million dollar” hugs. His grandkids, Brendan, Bailey, Kable, Bella, and Marina will all miss Grandpa very much. Mr. Strike filled the rest of his life with fishing, scuba diving, swimming in the ocean, and by supporting his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. He loves and serves God, and was a member of the Torch Worship Center.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
