NOTICE OF CHARTER
AMENDMENT ON ELECTION BALLOT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Charter Amendment question for the City of Brooksville, Florida, will be on the ballot of the General Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 for the purpose of submitting a amendment to the City Charter to its voters. The proposed amendment was recommended by the Charter Review Committee. After considering the report and recommendations of the Charter Review Committee, and receiving public input, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 891 setting forth the following proposed amendment question:

AMENDMENT
CLARIFYING PETITION FORM AND CONTENT REQUIREMENTS
FOR ORDINANCES PROPOSED BY PETITION
Shall the Brooksville City Charter be amended to clarify that the form and content requirements for citizen petitions proposing ordinances to the City Council shall be the same as those required for citizen petitions proposing charter amendments?
