Nancy M Boring

Boring, Nancy Marie Migliore, 83, beloved wife of Dr. George W. Boring, Jr. of Brooksville, died peacefully in their home on August 25, 2023.
Nancy was born during a blizzard on St. Paul Island, Alaska, one of the Pribilof Islands in the Bering sea, where her father served as the island doctor. She was married to her husband of 66 years when they were both teenagers, becoming a mother at 17. She worked to support her husband through college and dental school, and then kept his office business records throughout his 41 year practice. Nancy designed the home she and George lived in since 1976. She was a founding member of the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Brooksville and a devoted follower of Jesus. Having grown up in a Christian family, she was grateful to have known God all her life. She was also active in the community serving in both the Jr. Service League and as a Daughter of the American Revolution. She loved to travel, taking her children on lengthy summer road trips, exploring other countries with her husband, and visiting all 50 states during her lifetime.
Nancy is survived by a large and loving family including her beloved husband George; her four children, Deborah Boring Crawford of Mount Dora, George W. Boring III(Denise) of DeLand, Nancy Elizabeth (Beth) Boring Carlton(Mark) of Nokesville, VA, Mary Ann Boring Dellegatto (Paul) of Tampa; eleven grandchildren, Ginny Crawford Spooner (Nick), John Crawford, Mary Katherine Boring, George W. Boring IV, Peter Anthony Boring, Dr. David Carlton (Sarah), Shannon Carlton Korta (Christian), Kevin Carlton (Savannah); Rachel Marie Dellegatto, Caitlyn Dellegatto, Lindsey Dellegatto; and seven great-grandchildren, Jaxon Spooner, Story Spooner, Jonah Spooner, Judah Peter Wallace Spooner, Mark Carlton, Avrie Korta, and Elsie Korta. She is also survived by her brothers Dr. Anthony Migliore (Lynn) and Richard Migliore (Janet). She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Anthony Migliore and Mary Stone Migliore.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brooksville. Flowers may be sent directly to the church.
