Chick-fil-A 20th Anniversary

On Dec. 21, 2023, Chick-fil-A on Cortez celebrated its 20th anniversary in Hernando County. They commemorated the occasion with an appearance from their “eat mor chikin” cow, free cow headbands for all the kids, and a free meal for every twentieth guest. The cow made two one-hour appearances, greeting cars and posing for photos.

In a message from John Mitten, the Spring Hill Chick-fil-A store operator, he said, “Thank you for your faithful support over these last 20 years. Because of you, we have been able to be highly engaged in our community with education, sports, churches, civic groups, homeless families, and individuals. We think it is so very important to be a part of this community, and we are grateful that you want to partner with us in helping make Hernando County a great place to live, work, and play.”
