ENTERPRISE (DBE)
PROGRAM
In accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation Regulations at 49 CFR Part 26, the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is proposing to establish its overall goal for its Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Program for Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2024-2026. The overall goal is proposed at 1% for DBEs on FTA-funded contracting opportunities for the County’s transit system (TheBus). The entire amount is projected to be met through race-neutral measures.
The proposed goal rationale and methodology will be available for public review for the next thirty (30) days from the date of this notice during normal business 7:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday – Friday , by contacting Georgia Lim, Transit Financial Specialist 1525 E. Jefferson St. Room 148, Brooksville, FL 34601 or by phone at (352) 754-4060, extension 28030 and on our website at www.hernandobus.com. Written comments will be accepted for 45 days after the publication of this notice and should be mailed to: Hernando County Department of Public Works Transit Division 1525 E.
