2024 Hernando County Primary Election Results

The Supervisor of Elections website was redirected to a static page from 6:30 pm to 10 pm on Aug. 20 so it could handle the traffic related to people checking the results. Only around 20 percent of eligible voters cast ballots this election. A significant portion of ballots cast during this election were by mail.

There was a very close race for county commission between Ryan Amsler and Beth Kirshy Narverud with Mr. Amsler winning by 181 votes with 30,009 votes cast. This was an open race since only two Republicans qualified to run in the election, therefore Independents and Democrats could vote in the race.
