The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office tipped off the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office to a disturbing situation involving a mother and her male toddler.
The tip obtained from a popular social media platform contained photos and videos of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) showing a female performing sex acts with a toddler.
Fortunately, a speedy investigation put the suspect into custody within less than five hours. The woman identified in the photos and videos was Jenna Ann Hoffman, age 21, of Brooksville. Detectives went to her residence on Snow Memorial Highway and spoke to a family member. They showed this person an image of the CSAM and they identified the toddler as Hoffman’s son.
Hoffman agreed to speak with detectives and confirmed that she did commit the sex acts with her child. She said that a stranger on social media told her to produce the videos for payment. She said she produced the videos but was never paid for them.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and Hoffman was placed under arrest and charged with:
Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, Victim Under 12 Years of Age
Promote Sexual Performance of a Child
Possession of Sexual Performance of a Child With Intent to Promote
Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device
Hoffman was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center where she is being held without bond.
