Notes from the Museums: Holiday Decorations

You may have missed the Night of Lights event, but you can still view the beautiful Christmas decorations at the May-Stringer House. Regular history tours will be given on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for the next two weeks.

Also, the 1885 Depot on Russell Street will be part of the South Brooksville Avenue Stroll on December 20 and 21. Santa Claus is Coming to Town will be at the Countryman One Room Schoolhouse on Russell Street on December 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This time of year is great fun for the entire family to enjoy the beauty of Brooksville’s historic buildings, which are all dressed up in their holiday finery!

The Museums Schedules!
The May-Stringer tours on Wednesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – 352-799-0129
The 1885 Depot tours on Friday & Saturday from noon – 3 p.m. – 352-799-4766
The Countryman One Room Schoolhouse tours on Saturday from noon – 3 p.m. – by appointment – 352-515-3054
