Fatal Crash Closes Mariner Boulevard Following Pasco County Pursuit

A fatal crash early this morning shut down both directions of Mariner Boulevard just south of Spring Hill Drive, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

The crash, reported at 12:15 a.m., was the result of a pursuit that began in Pasco County. The HCSO confirmed it was not involved in the chase. The Florida Highway Patrol and Pasco County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene investigating.
