Sometimes you need to step away from your everyday stresses and do something new to awaken your senses, to clear your mind and rejuvenate your body. There is a place to do just that. It’s off of Commercial Way in Spring Hill at 4242 Lake in the Woods Drive, and called WellCome OM Integral Healing & Education Center.
On October 5, the center held its official grand opening celebration offering tours of the campus as well as the many workshops, and programs the center offers weekly.
“We are here to serve the community,” said Natalya Musallam, Executive Assistant. “Our main mission here is to educate. In order to encompass everyone, we have programs that are for everyone. The center offers a special program called ‘Be EMPOWERED’ that serves middle and high school children which allows them to earn community service hours. The center is currently working on building a sensory play area for families who have small children.
“Our goal is to create a sense of community here as well, (so) that people don’t have to make this journey on their own to self-improvement. We are here to guide them, help them, give them the proper tools and people with expertise to walk with them.”
The campus is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am – 4 pm. Check out their website for upcoming events at https://wellcomeomcenter.com/
