A Haines City man has been arrested in connection with a series of convenience store robberies across the Middle District of Florida, according to Acting United States Attorney Sara C. Sweeney.

Davian Walker, 19, faces up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted.

According to court records and statements, Walker allegedly carried out five robberies over a span of less than three months. During each incident, he reportedly brandished what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash from store clerks.

Investigators linked Walker to the first four robberies by identifying his phone number and the vehicle he used to travel to the crime scenes. This information allowed law enforcement to track Walker, leading to his arrest shortly after a robbery in Titusville in the early hours of March 13, 2025.

An indictment is a formal accusation that a defendant has violated federal law. Walker is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), along with the sheriff’s offices of Lake, Hernando, Hillsborough, Osceola and Polk counties. The Zephyrhills, Titusville and Orlando police departments also assisted in the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Candace Garcia Rich is prosecuting the case.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide effort by the Department of Justice to combat illegal immigration, dismantle cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent crime. The initiative combines resources from the Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) and Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN).
