Live Oak Theatre prepares for Season Opener: Annie

Tickets are selling quickly for LOT’s Annie. This is the full length Broadway version of the ever popular musical, based on the classic cartoon character, Little Orphan Annie. The very popular and well-known musical will open Live Oak Theatre’s 2017-2018 season. All seats are reserved.

The role of Annie will be shared by two Live Oak veteran performers: Elizabeth Kessel and Alannah Allocco. The cast also includes many veteran and new performers as well as a host of Live Oak regulars. The production will feature all the songs of the original Broadway production. It includes a cast of more than 90 adults and children in age appropriate roles. In fact, there are two casts. “Someone can attend our Saturday matinee and evening performances and see two different shows,” said artistic director Randi Olsen.

Annie “stars: Sir Charles Osborn II (a.k.a. Ozzie) in the role of Sandy. Ozzie is a Portuguese Podengo who has captured the hearts of the entire cast and crew.

Annie will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, October 13-15, and 20-22, 2017 at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 200 Mt. Fair Avenue, Brooksville, Florida 34601. Shows are 7:30 pm on Fridays and 2:30 and 7:30 pm on Saturdays. Sunday matinees are at 2:30. Doors open 30 minutes before show time.

All Live Oak Theatre productions are family-friendly and feature adults and youth cast in age-appropriate roles.

Single admissions to the productions are $20 for adults and students 13 and under are $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket. The tickets include coffee, tea, and dessert.
