Ocho Rios Cafe: Authenic Jamaican Restaurant

A trip to Ocho Rios Cafe is cheaper than a trip to Jamaica, but is just as authentic. There are a few booths and a table, but most people their take their food to go. The portions are generous. This is a great place if you want authentic Jamaican food and enjoy ‘mom and pop’ establishments.

The owner is Rohan Spencer. Rohan is very welcoming. He has owned the Ocho Rios Cafe for 5 years. With a great personality and delicious food – it isn’t a wonder that Rohan has a lot of regulars.

The food has a homemade vibe. Rohan uses fresh spices in the meals. Fresh sprigs of thyme and cloves of garlic make his curry a tasty experience. All of the cooking is from scratch.

We ordered the Jamaican patties for the kids. They have spicy and mild beef and chicken. We also had the Jerk wings and Shrimp Curry with rice, peas, and maduros. Delicious!
