UUCIP Is conducting a Book Drive to support People Helping People from Jan. 1 through March 31, 2017.
The Unitarian Universalist Church in the Pines in Weeki Wachee is asking for your unwanted books to help People Helping People (PHP) better serve the under-employed and homeless of Hernando County.
The PHP constituents who are taking PHP job-training classes would appreciate practical and reference books such as how to compose a business letter, various computer skills for dummies (Word, spreadsheets, PageMaker, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), cookbooks, and textbooks at any level in math and English. All donations are tax-deductible.
If you have such books lying around (or you find something similar on your travels), please set them aside for this project which runs from January 1 through March 31. For more information or to schedule a pick-up call 352-600-9555.
