Extra rooms are an untapped real estate opportunity. It’s not unusual to have an extra bedroom in your house. Indeed, a finder.com analysis of United States Census data suggests that there are 33.6 million of them across the nation.

Everyday activities like driving, going to work, or walking down the street present an element of risk to your personal safety. You may commute long distances alone or have mobile jobs making contact with the general public.

“It’s really not possible to avoid all risk but it’s wise to take some precautions,” said Angela Kanner, a co-owner of Personal Safety Outlet Inc.

Tamara and Jim Ferguson opened their restaurant in January of 2016 off of 41 in Brooksville. The sunny, brightly colored exterior caught my eye and I decided to give the place a try. Tamara, the cook, is originally from Jamaica. She begins preparing her family recipes early each morning, so there is time for the ingredients and flavors to simmer and meld together before their lunchtime crowd.
