SCORE offers QuickBooks Seminar

Introduction to QuickBooks. This two-hour seminar at 5 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 30, 2016 Spring Hill Branch Library 9220 Spring Hill Drive; Spring Hill, FL 34608 is designed for persons planning to start a business, or who have recently started a small business, but who have not yet set up an effective record keeping system. The seminar is a basic hands-on introduction to QuickBooks, the popular automated business record keeping system. Sponsorships sought for Upcoming Fundraiser

Crescent Community Clinic is offering sponsorship opportunities for its upcoming fundraiser, the “Nearly” Real Housewives of Hernando County, which will be performed on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at the Vineyard Christian Church, 375 South Broad Street, Brooksville, Florida 34601, and on Saturday, February 11, at the Town Square Theater, 3021 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, Florida 34607.  Both performances begin at 7 pm and doors open at 6:30 for dessert and coffee. Volunteers sought for Animal Services

Volunteers are needed to help socialize the dogs and cats, transport and assist with offsite adoption events, help with bathing/grooming, walk dogs and most of all love and play with the animals. Hernando Youth Orchestra has instruments for loan

HYO has some instruments to loan to young musicians ages 6 to 21. HYO’s low-cost music lessons are a perfect way to develop your musical skills before joining the orchestra. PHSC to host job search workshops

Pasco-Hernando State College will host a job search strategy workshop series on Mondays in November at the West Campus, in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road. The series—designed to help job seekers overcome the challenges of finding employment and to refine interviewing skills—is free and open to the public.
