Get ready to bounce into fun because our annual Easter egg hunt is hopping back to the airport farmers and flea market! 🐰🌼 Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 20th, 2025, at 12:30 PM, and join us for a shell-abration in our usual spot at the back of the flea market’s main parking lot. But wait, there’s more! We’re throwing in a scavenger hunt for the elusive golden egg, hidden in one of our vendor booths! 🥚✨ If you find it, dash back to the office to claim your egg-citing prize! Let’s make this Easter egg-cellent! 🎉 Just like every year, this fabulous event is on the house! Our market gates swing wide open from 8 am to 3 pm, no matter if it’s raining cats and dogs or shining like a diamond. And guess what? Bring your furry friends along because we’re a pet-friendly paradise! Get ready to unleash your inner superstar with Karaoke hosted by DJ Big B from Output Entertainment, chow down at the food trucks, and shop till you drop with our amazing vendors! Just please bring a basket for the hunt!
ABOUT US
The Hernando Sun is a locally owned weekly newspaper. The founders of the newspaper are Rocco and Julie Maglio. They saw the need for a newspaper when the Hernando Today newspaper closed their doors in 2014. Rocco is from Hernando, he went to school from Moton Elementary through Hernando High. Growing up in Hernando enhances his ability to provide background to ongoing issues. The Hernando Sun Printed their first issue in March 2015. They published monthly for a year before increasing to a weekly printing. The newspaper is delivered through the US mail, so it arrives with your mail.
