If you like Friday Night Live, you’ll love Courthouse Live!
Courthouse Live will take place every Friday, with the exception of our 2021 Friday Night Live date(October 8th)
It’s our way of keeping the music playing in historic downtown Brooksville.
Take an early trip into downtown to explore our Florida Mermaid Trail, visit some of our one of a kind shops, and grab a meal to go at one of our downtown restaurants. Bring a chair from home, or you can even dine under the beautiful oaks at our newly placed picnic tables at our historic courthouse.

We are currently waiving vendor fees for this brand new growing event. Come and be part of the energy we are bringing to downtown!

ABOUT US
The Hernando Sun is a locally owned weekly newspaper. The founders of the newspaper are Rocco and Julie Maglio. They saw the need for a newspaper when the Hernando Today newspaper closed their doors in 2014. Rocco is from Hernando, he went to school from Moton Elementary through Hernando High. Growing up in Hernando enhances his ability to provide background to ongoing issues. The Hernando Sun Printed their first issue in March 2015. They published monthly for a year before increasing to a weekly printing. The newspaper is delivered through the US mail, so it arrives with your mail.
