Florida Native Plant Society Field Trip: University of South Florida Herbarium USF Herbarium, Library Special Collections University of South Florida

We are pleased to follow-up our March program with a trip to Tampa to experience the herbarium in person. If you plan to attend, please RSVP at [email protected] so we can share details regarding rendezvous and parking. If you come to our Monday, March 3 program, we will have some permits to hand out. 

To park at USF you will need to use the Park Mobile App or obtain a permit for Visitor Day Parking and then park in a designated Visitor lot. For more details about your options see the Visitor Parking Page, and review the map of Visitor parking. Although Visitor lot 7B is close to the Library, it could be full. Please allow extra travel time in case you need to hunt down a space elsewhere, such as in the SunDome lot.  

If you will be carpooling, you might want to meet up at the Winn Dixie Plaza at I-75 and Hiway 50 at 8:45 am. We typically park near the base of the main plaza sign where there is lots of room to leave vehicles. Unfortunately, the Sunrise Plaza main sign is still missing in action since the hurricanes, but you’ll see where it should be.
