Good Neighbor Trial to the Withlacoochee trail

Let’s ride the beautiful Good Neighbor Trail, starting in Brooksville and riding through the Croom Wildlife Management Area where the trail intersects with the Withlacoochee State Trail. On Withlacoochee Trail, will ride north to the Lake Townsen Trailhead and then return back to Brooksville. This is a rail-trail, paved, and considered an easy ride with lots of shade and wildlife.

Let’s head to the Florida Cracker Kitchen, a unique eatery that offers authentically Florida southern cuisine and has a Tap Room & Bourbon Bar located next door. (A 2-min drive from the trailhead.)

Good Neighbor Trailhead, 70 Russell St, Brooksville, FL 34601
– Ride distance: 32 miles
– Ride pace: 15 to 17 MPH (avg)
*  🚴‍♂️Pick your own pace and ride length. This is an out-and-back trail so if you prefer to ride slower and/or a shorter distance, please add a comment to see if there are others who would like to ride with you. (The Good Neighbor Trail segment only is approx 22 miles RT – see trail route and below comment.).

– We do not assign sweeps at our rides so be sure to know the route.
