Marine Corps League 708 presents our 2nd Annual Trail of Horror. Opening night is September 24th @6 – 10 pm. Trail will be open Friday and Saturday nights up to and including October 31st. This year’s trail will be bigger and better than last year’s terrifying trail. A few of the new additions, a ghost town, Skull Island & Pirate Bay and much more. We will have bounce house, inflatables, raffle baskets, a children’s raffle each night of trail, pumpkin patch, ice cream and more. If you make it out alive we will have a variety of food trucks to enjoy each night. Cost is $10 per person, children 5 and under free. The Hernando Sun is a locally owned weekly newspaper. The founders of the newspaper are Rocco and Julie Maglio. They saw the need for a newspaper when the Hernando Today newspaper closed their doors in 2014. Rocco is from Hernando, he went to school from Moton Elementary through Hernando High. Growing up in Hernando enhances his ability to provide background to ongoing issues. The Hernando Sun Printed their first issue in March 2015. They published monthly for a year before increasing to a weekly printing. The newspaper is delivered through the US mail, so it arrives with your mail.
