Access Health Care, LLC offers an education series about diabetes mellitus to be held at Access Health Care, 5382 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, at 1 pm. The series is directed to anyone who has been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus (DM) and family.

The series is conducted by Verna Pedersen Runyan, ARNP-C, CDE. Ms. Runyan is a graduate of Soumi College, Clinton Community College, State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and Community General Hospital, Nurse Practitioner Program, Syracuse, NY.

Jaw pain, some people call TMJ, with associated headaches and facial pain are a huge call to action among many of my patients. There are a wide variety of causes, and a few core solutions that in the right combinations can give many people great relief. A child’s education begins at home. Functional parents naturally provide role modeling that is fertile ground for the child’s moral, emotional social and educational development. Children spontaneously imitate speech patterns, vocabulary, thinking and the value of continual learning of the parent.

In the past families was a cohesive group that did almost everything together. Sitting down to meals, working around the house, recreation, visiting relatives, church attendance were practically rituals for the family. It was the most important social unit in society.
